Hi, I’m Tania, the owner and stylist behind District Blonde, a private home hair studio located in Parkvale, Tauranga.

 

With 12 years of experience in the hair industry, I’ve created an intimate studio space designed to feel calm, comfortable and personal. Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in central Tauranga, my studio offers a relaxed one-on-one experience where guests can feel listened to, understood and completely at ease.

 

I’m easy-going by nature and genuinely love building connections with the women who sit in my chair. My focus is always on creating hair that suits your lifestyle while making sure you feel confident and cared for from the moment you arrive.

 

While I have previously been known as a blonde specialist and will always have a soft spot for blondes, my work has evolved into creating custom colours tailored to each guest. I also love working with grey coverage and modern grey blending and hair extensions.

 

I am experienced working with fine hair, thick hair and curly hair, and I tailor every cut and colour to suit individual texture, face shape and maintenance preferences.

 

Outside the salon, I’m a mum to three teenage boys and wife to an amazing husband. Together we also run Axis Concrete Solutions, so life is full and busy in the best way. When I’m not behind the chair, I enjoy getting outdoors for walks and spending time with our dogs.

 

District Blonde was created to be more than just a hair appointment. It’s a welcoming, private space in Tauranga where women can relax, feel heard and leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
